Say goodbye to scabies forever...
These days we are all very conscious of our bodies and anything that can go wrong. Sales of hygiene products have been going up and that is a great thing. The problem is that no matter how careful we are about infections and sickness there are still things that can happen. The key to staying healthy is identifying what is wrong and choosing the right treatment for what ails you. One of the common problems all over the globe is that of scabies. Of course the first thing that is asked when the topic is brought up is what in the world is it? Well scabes is the infestation of small mites called sarcoptes sabei. As we have said this is a relatively common issue that plagues individuals all over the globe of all ages from an infant, baby and children to pregnant women, and races according to statistics.
The main thing about scabees is that it is contagious and can spread extraordinarily fast when allowed to. The way that it maneuvers form person to person is from skin to skin touching which is why an outbreak can occur in places like childcare businesses and hospitals are typical locations for spreading infestations. If you are like the majority of us then the first thing that you have to know is information about what in the world the signs and symptoms of a scabie is. The basic signs are the irritating bumps that kind of look like zits. This rash and pimple like items can occur in areas of the body where the skin folds, evident from pictures in books and photos and pics on the web, such as wrist, elbow, shoulder blades and even in the genital area like the penis.
These scavies are very itchy. This itchiness causes people to scratch at the rash and causes sores that can become infected leading to a worse condition. The way that someone gets scabeis is when there is long-term skin-to-skin contact between someone without a mite and someone that is already showing scabies symptoms without treatment of any sort. Let's take this one step further. You can actually acquire skabies by sharing clothes and shower towels. Transmission can occur by even sleeping on the same bed sheet.
Are scabies able to live forever? The answer is no. Mites do not live more than a few days unless they are a female, which can live on the skin up to thirty days or so. Another area of interest is whether you can get scabis from your pet. Your animal, dog or canine, cat or feline, sheep or whatever gets different kinds of mite that burrows into the skin and it is called mange. This is not to say that the mites that bother your pet cannot affect you and cause signs of human scabies but you will not need separate treatment such as creams, lotions or medicine medications. Once the infestation is off of the animal you will see the signs go away.
If you come in contact with skavies you can expect to see the signs of it in a little over a month. If you have had it before the signs become apparent faster since you can never become completely immune to an infestation. You can cure them with a number of different prescription and over the counter cures but you can always end up having to get rid of them again. The best way to stop from getting them again is to practice prevention.
We can go over info for hours but you probably only want to know how to diagnose scebies and how to treat and cure them so that you do not suffer any longer. A doctor can do the diagnosis and they look for the burrows in the rash. Physicians can also take sample of skin but since there is not that many skin mites at a given time it can be missed easily.
As we said earlier there are a number of treatments for this problem ranging from Permethrin (Premethrin) and Ivermectin to treat your Norwegian or crusted scabies all the way to over the counter and cheap and highly discounted medications like Dexoprin, often mistaken for Deproxin. If you have the need there is a scabiestreatment for you.
Anybody that is showing any symptom of scabies should be treated in addition to those individuals that are in close proximity to the infested person regularly. All of the people should have themselves treated at the same time so that nobody get reinfested after shaking them. Once you get a proper cure new parasites within a handful of hours should not be bothering you.
